just as expected, a low-scoring defensive battle with the nets. joe harris with the nets lone 3. what a horrible offensive outing for the big 3.
It's weird seeing Harden just 2-7 at half time in a game 1. He always came out like a flame thrower for the Rocks at the start of a series and would slowly taper off as the defense got locked in on him. Will be interesting to watch how he goes down the stretch
Yeah, I'm conflicted. It'd be nice for Harden to win a ring...but if there is a chance they get knocked out of the first round and explode...I mean, I'm rooting for that. I think the Nets still win, they just gotta wake up...but I'd easily celebrate a Celtics win if it meant the nets implode, sure.
He's been scoring about 20 ppg while playing with Durant and Irving. I wouldn't expect big scoring games from him as part of a Big Three. He's the primary facilitator on this team. Not the go-to scorer, unless he's on the floor without the other two.
2 volume scorers next to Harden....What a waste. CP3 > irving next to Harden imo. I actually think a team consisting of CP3, James Harden and Klay Thompson might be better than Durant,James, irving even if the 2nd team is much much better in terms of talent.
KD usually makes the shots he’s missing today. Neither James nor Kyrie are shooting well either. One of them is likely to get hot, though.
I have been back and forth on Harden, whatever happens I will claim that is what I wanted to happen all along. Whether it be a championship or an early flame out. As of late I am hoping they completely flame out, blow the roster up, and our picks end up being worth a ton.
I want James to win but I also want KD to lose. So I guess it’s both win-win and lose-lose at the same time.
I'm rooting for the nets because I want to see bucks vs nets in the 2nd round. Irving, harden durant vs jrue, Middleton, giannis is a series I'm all in on. Boston beating the nets would only be interesting in the underdog, huge upset type of entertaining. Which is great too, but I want the marquee, premier matchup this time
can you guys believe the nets were allowed to get blake griffin? the way he dominated with his 0-0 shooting and terrible defense on tatum, it's tough to see how it was allowed.
i didn't even know he was on boston. i feel like i haven't seen him in any game i've watched this year. if he's outshooting the big 3, the nets have a problem.
