Top 4 pick or Bust!

It appears that the Miami pick is set at 18 and the Milwaukee pick is set at 24. The Portland pick isn't set yet, could be 22 or 23, but not certain.

Is there any chance that we may not end up with 3 FRP'S if we drop out of the top 4?

 

Dropping out of the top 4 only affects us in that we'd get the Miami pick. The other 2 picks are separate.

We have been talking about the NBA draft for a long time with many suggestions. I propose to the Clutchfans crew that a official mock draft thread should be started for submissions now that the season is over for us.

For Portland pick. #21, 22 or 23:

I am assuming they will wait for the play-in outcome. If Lakers out of playoffs then Lakers become #21. And tie breaker is performed between the Mavs.(Damn you for tanking the last game) and the Blazers for #22. & 23.

If the Lakers makes the playoffs them they will perform a three-way tie breaker.

Or wait. If the Lakers don’t make the playoffs, don’t they go to lottery and not take #21 pick?

 

In the unlikely scenario of the Lakers missing the playoffs, the Lakers will pick # 14. Since they would have the best record among non-playoff teams.

 

Looking to 2022 draft, how can the Pistons make the playoffs next year? They feel at least 2 seasons away.

Good summary but I believe they missed wizards/pacers if they both win/lose play-in

also if Spurs/hornets both win play-ins not just loses.
