Knew he was a fake ass from day 1.

Many were fooled by his "we want to be here" as pro Houston rather than what they really were - jealous snipes at Harden.

    Petty MFer.

do you also remember how so many went out of their way to trash Russ??

Russ took his team to the 'play in' tourney. Juuuuuuuuuust sayin'

I'll always love Wall for his tank job if we secure a top pick. If not?? Yeeesh this place will turn into the church scene from Kingsman.

To be fair he didn’t say he wants to leave. He was just predicting he will not be with the Rockets next season.

Note to guys who keep saying "Russ led ____"
The correct version is "Beal led ____"

That being said, where does Wall think he's gonna go? Does he think he has played well enough for us to move his $40M contract? At some point the Rockets can't keep trading bad contracts. They have to let one expire.

Why downplay his contribution? Sure, Beal scores, but without Russ it would have been the typical WASH season with Beal. No playoffs. At least now they give themselves a punchers chance. It wasnt a good year by any team metric - Russ was his typical inefficient self, but he brings a relentless drive to the game, and leads the league in assists by well over 2 over the next guy so he's doing what he can with a roster that ranks near the top in wins lost due to injuries.

I mentioned it only because so many claimed he was washed and slandered a HOFer out of town because it didnt work at the end for us. He's been putting on a show - you should watch one of his games they are entertaining.
