Listening to the news reports that protests and even fighting have extended to Israeli Arabs shows that this outbreak could be different. For the most part Israeli Arabs didn't participate in the first two Intifadas. Arab Israelis and Jewish Israeli mobs appear to be targeting each other in Israel proper.

The Palestinians have never had good leadership either corrupt PLO or extremists Hamas. They've also been used by other Arab countries. For countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE to cut deals with Israel and essentially abandon the Palestinians who've they've used as justification for decades shows how ill served the Palestinians are.

Bottom line is the root of this conflict is Israel's continued colonization of land that is supposed to be a Palestinian state. Since the world isn't willing to do anything to stop Israel, and Israel is willing to sacrifice some lives on both sides to achieve its aim - then violence is inevitable.

In order to keep Israel a Jewish state while it expands into Palestinian territory, in needs to make living conditions in the occupied territories miserable to force out Palestinians.

Palestinian leadership's primary interest is to strengthen its leadership as it has little options to fight back or find a solution. So ultimately tapping into the anger that people feel is what its going to do.

Compared to the interest support and solidarity shown to the Palestinians absolutely nothing has been shown to the Uyghurs who are actively being genocided and systemically exterminated. Even other muslims pretend that nothing happens.

 

The conflict between the arab/arabised traditional identity and the modern national identity has been one of the reasons for the arabic spring that brought wars, protests, regimes and civil wars.
Yes they are all arabs but in the end they aren't the same arabs. They are still poor foreigners who ask for pittance and help.
