Could have been a coaching/scheme issue? Or maybe even a Covid/injury issue? One would hope that a newer, better DC could scheme a better outcome than last year.
Injuries are apart of the game. I’m a believer that it was beyond the injuries which made them regress. That’s my opinion of course. This team has very little talent it’s shocking.
I just want Oliver Luck to take over the Houston football organization. Is that too much to ask you really can’t get much pure than that
That would seem to be a logical and excellent move for the future of this organization. Because of that, there's no way in hell it will ever happen.
I so hope I'm wrong, but this sounds a lot like the kinda **** you say when you know you're about to lose a boatload of games.
Of course they are... they need to be one of the worst teams in football, in a year where they have all their picks. Then they can see who out of all these 1 year flyers are worth extending. Then they can finally get some much needed talent and depth in the draft... with the hopeful addition of more picks if certain trades are executed. The Texans are about where the Astros were ~ 2010-2011. Culley will fill the Brad Mills role.
Luckily it doesn’t take as long to get better in the NFL... but the front office needs a plan, and they need some good fortune along the way.
If we give up anything when we have Taylor and then Finley and mills as young qbs on the roster then they are taking this competition thing too far
