    The Timberwolves are a joke!!
    Top #3 protected pick in 2021’ ...

Less than a month ago they were a solid 2nd worst win team with a massive 4 games of leeway from the 4th worst win team Cleveland Cavaliers! How in the *ell do you blow that leeway in less than a month and GIVE your #1 pick to the Warriors?? This is asinine!!

The Timberwolves are the “Washington Generals” of the NBA!

    (P.S.) The Warriors suck!!!

    Go Rockets!!!

That is crazy. At least we accomplished the tanking part so we don't have to look like those dumb****s.

But......we can soon soon be there with them if those ping pong balls don't fall our way. :(

    What failure?

With the new NBA rules, The odds don't change for the Timberwolves to get a top three pick regardless of whether they win a few more games. Actually, the more games they win, the more likely that the pick they give up (assuming they don't get into the top three) will be less valuable. So, a better record for Minnie will actually hurt the Warriors.

By dropping out of the top four, the Timberwolves have voluntarily decreased their odds of landing in their top #3 protected pick. Yes, they could’ve dropped out by the new rules, but that would’ve been involuntarily.

You play the hand that you’re dealt and let luck play out the rest...

Yes, but the difference is marginal, they still have a relatively decent chance to get in the top three, compared to previous years. On the other hand, if they end up 5th, the highest odds are that the pick will be 7th and could be as low as 9th.

Anyway, it's a lottery, and anything can happen, but with the draft top heavy - probably 5 great players - I think it's the Warriors who cringe every time the Timberwolves win.

I would hate to miss out on a top #3 pick based on anything, especially if the margin made the difference...o_O

Like I said you play the hand that you’re dealt, and let luck play itself out...

    We can agree to disagree...

    I applaud their move!
Winning is the only chance they get rid of the loser mentality...not more lottery picks...they had enough of those in the last decade and still went NOWHERE
