    Not the toolbar
    Not the Menu bar
    but
    The Status Bar at the Bottom of the window.

    What is the O/S?


    Are you asking this from the POV of an Enduser or a person coding for web pages? If you are coding for web pages, then I don't understand why Internet Explorer is the targeted browser.

    If it's possible, you'd have to hack the registry settings. Whoever's using IE has more issues than looking at a status bar.

    Google would know. It's like a buddy or something.

    IE is old as ****. :). But I do not know the answer to your question , no. Usually M$ jams Edge down everyone's throats.
