I think it's a Southern thing. Never seen it anywhere else other than coastal, hunting and fishing areas in the South. Proper for outdoor activities, but not other social gatherings imo.
Im not saying i have great style or taste and its all subjective perhaps.. but if i see someone wearing a vented shirt like that my opinion of them drops and I think less of them (and that they have no style or taste)
Cornhole players are crazy over "Hey Dude" shoes. I just can't with those or crocs. It is Air Max, Cole Haan or Sperry for me. An occasional Adidas ultra boost but to each their own.
nothing, but if one of your students is wrestling with gender identity issues and you're mocking their shoes as "feminine," you've got bigger problems than me commenting in this thread
I have one shirt like that and never really looked at it as vented, don't wear it all the time but it works. I feel the same way about a guy wearing a no tuck shirt.
How do you know its an untuck it shirt? I admit im going through a fashion sunset years entrance moment. starting to give less fuc*ks ..i think crocs are in that world
See that's where you are wrong. I would never mock my students for anything and my use of the feminine was my description here in this thread. I can have arguments or discussions that don't include mocking and feelings don't get hurt, the fact that you automatically took it to a gender identity thing is more reflective of you and how much you want to hijack this thread. Wow I did not realize how much I am actually in your head, you trying to flip this innocuous thread says a lot. This is reaching even for you.
Jiggy, you most certainly made this thread about gender specificity. I called out Deb because, well, women also stereotype. I hate both Ugg’s and crocs BTW, because, well, they are just not cool enough for this kid. Peace.
I had to google hey dude shoes and i admit i like that style. I dont own any but i would and this is a sign. Im becoming that old dude i swore off that wears hawaiian shirts and plays cornhole fml
No I did not that's how you took it. You focused on the word feminine and I only said feminine because they look like clogs. And just using the word feminine should not be gender specific, you made it that way.
