I've been doing the show with Mark Vandemeer from 10-11am on Tuesdays for about 2 months now and I'm curious as to how you guys think I am doing. My feelings are really hard to hurt so blast away if that's what you feel because I want to get better.
i enjoy it AB...good stuff. it's nice for marc to have someone to talk to, i think...someone to bounce ideas off. you sound good on the radio...and it comes across as a very "heady" show, i think, while still being entertaining.
What an attention w****... I really wish I could listen. Since I moved to the 1st floor at work, I can't get 610 anymore. If only they had a webcast..............
RIGHT! I just don't want to think that I am doing well and have listeners think that I suck. (reading the Cynthia Cooper threads can do that to ya)
I thoroughly enjoy it, whenever I get a chance to listen. Honesty, I've never like Marc doing the show by himself. However, with the back and forth banter between yourself and Marc, I've started to enjoy the show... I don't think he's the type of radio personality that does flying solo well. You bring a lot to the show and make it much more enjoyable. I think you should make it a permanent gig from M-F...
I can honestly say I don't listen. But that is because I can't get the station in my car at certain times of the day. I can usually hear it from 6-7 and then I lose it until about 3. I can hear it from 3-5 and then I lose it again. Like everyone else here, I would love to be able to listen to you on the net. I might even be so bold as to call in and even call you AB instead of Billy D. edit: Before Chance pops in and says I am working on it blah, blah blah, ... I know you are but unless you got the connection up 2 minutes ago, you ain't working fast enough.
I'm out of town, so I don't get to listen. I should be back home next week. BTW, You should get Marc do post here AB.
Don't listen to us. Listen to yourself. because no matter how good you are at least 50% of the population won't like you. Think Steve Francis. You have to listen to yourself from this point forward and take advice from the inner circle. But you will know good when you hear it and bad when you hear it. You are the best judge of your performance. As a comedian you probably already know that. Just apply it to radio now.
Please list me among those who would love to listen were it broadcast over the web. I work on the island and my dinky little radio doesn't even pretend like it can get any AM stations. Once it is up, maybe y'all could email me a note.
there's no reception here. wish i could listen. it's a shame that the airwaves don't reach vancouver. oh, AB -- do you have a website? i remember checking something out with your stuff on it...but that was prob 2 years ago.
