Ya, most important thing for these 3 seasons is being one of the 3 worst teams in the league. Hard pass on anyone who could possibly mess that up

The whole premise was the rockets felt oladipo was an all star who could help us compete. THe folks touted how inefficient and undervalued levert was and wasn't worth it.

How was this also the guy who is going to rise us above being the worst.

Then again, thats not even the point.

With Oladipo, he was an expiring contract already vocalized he wanted to goto miami who could create room this summer to get him, so we have our backs against the wall second we got him. Levert has more years, elss ugrency, and we can sit him when we want. He would give us at least a mid first.

Likewise with allen. we got a late first rounder in milwaulkee for him. we could've played him for 2 months, his value would've been better, we could sign and trade and gotten more.

Right now we are at the bottom of the abrrel. To write off these mid picks as if I'm not losing sleep then our entire harden trade was picks that may not materialize for half a decade and we just hope their franchise which is a destination implodes, we laso hope the draft class is good, we also hope that the lotterey which rewards less the worst teams now works in our favor, then we also hope we make the right choice.

We essentially got Hope and a lot of the same thing you guys are writing off as I wont lose sleep on not getting levert. Rockets are rebuilding and we have about 2 obvious keepers, 2 more guys who can be in the rotation. We have no cap room with john wall and eric gordon both heavily injury prone low trade value for the next 2 seasons, we have slightly above a coin flip to keep our pick. We gave up a generational talent for potential hope, we punted to the fanbase that well work it out later while the fan base spends time, energy, money still on this team while they give us a lackluster profit. We are the worst team in the nba, with a historic losing streak, and we still half a slightly above coin flip chance of a draft.

I believe ietll work out, but to ignore our circumstances and then write off any assets as who cares I won't lose sleep is just odd. The only winner is tillman with more time to pay off debts.
