Correa isn’t doing his contract year any favors

Correa Tucker and Straw all need to do better in the long run this season. Nobody’s handing Carlos 300 mil if he finishes this year fully healthy hitting .250, he may be playing himself into a heavy laden short term deal with another opt out in a few years.

 

He's in a hellacious 1 week slump. 1-26, 1 BB, as of April 30 he was slashing .303 .352 .495 .847

Wow, Jays are on their 4th closer of the year due to injury, and they still ran out 2 guys tonight dealing filth. A couple of those guys are due back this year, they could have a scary pen at some point.

 

Not ideal, but they had to get that one.

 

Why not Stanek here? Raley hasn’t earned this leverage.

 

We really need some of our starters back, so I don't have to see Raley in every game. Please....
