If the woman is a model everyone thinks she's a goldigger or a w----- and if she doesn't meet the modern standards for beauty then people think something is wrong with the athlete.

 

Hopefully, Bam enjoys his work and life enough not to pay attention.

Athletes get a ton of love from their fame which seems like a positive thing for their psyche. And they have the money to hire someone to teach them how to block out the inevitable hate/envy.

The irony of it is the itnernet has just become a place for outrage, while they peddle the same for fat shaming or whatever else, same people lead the way for things like this. The irony isn't surprising. Think of the power structure or what is popular now, Kardashians doing nothing is the ratings driver, let alone they've managed to take that sort of worship to get in the white house for criminal justice reform with president trump, another leader in short form sensational showmanship, I think the show before this was Jersey shore. It panders to our most simplistic sensationalsit parts, be it TMZ/ESPn, so forth. It works. I don't hate the player but the game as they are just answering the markets call for ....that... Will be interesting of what it makes to this entire generation growing up on it as well.

Nonetheless, doesn't surprise me. I'm not sure who that was, could be his sister, friend, or whatever else, but now its public fodder sadly. As MJ said, hes glad he didn't play with all of this.

 

Its the internet, they don't have to have it said about themselves, they'll save their outrage for that. I think we accept what it is, sort of like going to a bar late at night and everyoens drunk, you go in with very low low expectations of any sort of productive conversation.
