The best moment of the draft was not when the Rockets pulled the trade for Griffin off. Oh no, it was a moment so much sweeter. The beautiful sound of thousands of New Yorkers coming together in a show of unity that has not been matched lately. Chanting the chorus "Vescey sucks" over and over again, they brought tears to my eyes the the beautiful music they were making. I salute New Yorkers today for making this draft one of the most special drafts ever for me as a basketball fan. Basketball fans around the world should join in the chant to unify themselves.
