He is a tall lean 4. He doesn't play like AD or KG. His defense is good, his offense is limited. A better Rudy Gobert at best with some play making.

 

I also think Green is the star of this draft.

 

Which is a more defensible position than Mobley being first or second. Green is too one dimensional to be #1 and I don't see Durant level ability there.

ive been saying it all along. i dont know what the random posters here get so hyped around him other than that he's tall. not a top 5 pick for me.

 

C'mon, it's not just that he's tall. The guy averaged 16/9 with 3 blocks and a steal as the centerpiece of one of the better defenses in the nation. He also led the NCAA in +/- on the season. As a freshman. I'm not as bullish on Mobley as some (a. I think cade is the better, safer prospect but also b. Big men rely on good guard play which isn't necessarily a given) but the guy's ceiling is as high as anybody.
