I have come up with a brilliant solution to avoid discussions I have no interest in. Spoiler Don’t enter the thread.
plenty of people do and you're in the DISH where it clearly says "What's going on elsewhere in the NBA?" oh and 224 pages and counting of a thread called James Harden's Brooklyn Nets
He gave 9 seasons to the Rockets. Longer than Francis, Mobley or Tmac. Just as long as Yao. People still care.
I always find it amusing when those that pretend that they don't care have enough time to tell others "who cares". Yeah, we care bro, we are still James Harden fans. It doesn't make us any less Rockets fans. If you don't care, I'd suggest not coming to this thread to comment at all, otherwise, it really does make it seem like you actually care.
Its painfully obvious they have no chance without james. Oh god please let him get healthy enough to play. All that talent on brooklyn with no playmaker. No wonder they were .500 before trading for james.
the Nets are just 16-17 this season without Harden...27-7 with him Harden has more impact than KD, and it’s been that way for many years...that is how Harden, aging CP3, and role players can win 65 games and be on the brink of beating a team featuring Steph, KD, Klay, and Draymond Nets without Harden would be finished, and if he had ended up in Philly, my goodness...Harden, Embiid, Harris, shooters, and that very good defense would’ve absolutely washed BK in a playoff series
Steve nash is in way over his head with this team. Just exposed without harden taking over coaching duty on the floor. He really tried to close with a front court of bruce brown and blake griffin against the bucks? And you wonder why dante divincenzo of all people has 15 rebounds on your ass
Going smaller to close out games sounds very very familiar to me...wonder whose on that coach staff over there in BKN that might support such a move.
Not sure why Claxton isn't getting any burn, but Jordan was getting killed by Giannis early, which probably explains why he didn't see the court to close the game. Frontcourt rotation is pretty thin. Hard to do something with close to nothing.
Claxton had been out for COVID protocol. Also, BG didn't look too bad on Giannis for the most post. I just don't think you can go long stretches with him as your best rim-protector though.
Is James Harden even coming back at all this year? I haven't heard any news that's hes close to coming back. What grade of the sprain did he had before he got injured...anyone know? I'm just wondering because there's only 6 regular season game left.
I am hopeful that he'll come back. If he's confident enough to tweet the New Yorker magazine cover erasing the Knicks players, that gives me hope. But that injury is a b****, very hard to estimate, so who knows? Not that I stopped being pissed at the way he left, but dude deserves a ring, and we know he'll get one if he's healthy.
