I voted No for two reasons. First, I dont think we are getting Cade. For whatever reason I feel the Rockets are going to end up with the second pick and select Mobley. Second, I dont think Cade is a volume scorer. I think we will see a lot more triple doubles from Cade than we will 50 point games.

That is if we land Cade.

Wood and KPJ are already ahead of him in the pecking order. Doubt they'll give up the ball to a rook.

I doubt the 50. I'll be happy if he contributes in other ways to help this squad out.

Why does Cade give me a Michael Beasley vibe? Same hype.

Huh? Cade doesn’t have that much hype.

all Beasley could do was score

If we don't get Cade I'm blaming OP for the jinx.

U don't think Cade has hype? All I see is him projected #1 on every board.

The 6-foot-8, 220-pound freshman averaged 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists on the season, joining Kevin Durant (Texas), Michael Beasley (Kansas State) and Marcus Smart (Oklahoma State) as the only freshmen in conference history to win Big 12 Player of the Year and Big 12 Freshman of the Year.

Beasleys college game is similiar to Cade.

That reminds me of when Ricky Davis didn't want to get out of Lebron's way. How'd that end up for him?

Also, THANKS FOR THE JINX OP! Oklahoma City is definitely getting our pick now.

You dudes never learn. NEVER. We'll be lucky to just keep our original pick in the first place.

yeah, but it’s not like he’s talked up as some surefire generational player...that’s what I consider as having a ton of hype for a guy likely to go #1 overall

Similar how? All Beasley looked to do was score like Melo. He pretty much never passed. Beasley was often running point and orchestrating PnRs in college like Cade?

The best odds for this we can have is just 14%. But hey those odds are equal or better than any other team at the moment.
