Well, out of the more recent movies, matchstick man with nicohlas cage has a pretty cool ending. I seriously did not see that coming, and was waiting for Cage to pull something cool off like he usually does, but it never happens.
Roman Holiday - She realizing he was a reporter and could've blown her whole story wide open, but didn't, seeing the man she loves and finding out who he is and at the same time coping with the reality that she'll never be able to be with him.
Yeah Casablanca has a great ending i was really surprised with it ,and memento also has a great ending in american history x do you think edward nortons character became a racist again after his bro got shot?
I almost forgot although most of the people think that scream is cheesy i was still surprised with its ending that there are 2 killers.
Friday the 13th part I, I never saw the ending coming at the lake. Scared the crap out of me. Not a fulfilling movie, but pretty damn scary for a little kid.
I seriously thought of this one also, but I didn't want to be made fun of for proping up a Bill Paxton movie. I liked the ending too. Very suprising.
Sixth Sense Seven Sweet November first 2 speak for themself sweet november is very romantic movie and a very tragic ending
Carrie- Hand out of grave usually does it for me. From Dusk til Dawn- "VAMPIRES" who knew? #1. The Color Purple
I saw the reverse sting in Matchstick Men coming a mile away and it sort of soured the movie on me - I can't see the Nick Cage character forgiving the girl. Seven's ending was just such a downer. Frailty and Sixth Sense both knocked my socks off. By mentioning the following, it spoils them. The fact that there is even a surprise in them blew me away. If you have the patience, Manon of the Spring and the Jean de Florette are the films.
Have to agree with a lot of others here... Sixth Sense Seven Usual Suspects Signs Shawshank Redemption Fraility Identity
Memento does have a great ending or is it a great beginning since the movie goes backwards. The one movie that still bugs the hell out of me is Mulholland Drive. I can watch it over and over and over and still not understand the ending.
Just watched the remake again for the millionth time tonight. I like the remakes ending better where he finds the gas pump keys in the cellar and just laughs. Both are equally ironic though. Tony Todd is the man. He's so huge in person. I met him at a Star Trek convention. That's right I said Star Trek convention. "Idiots! Lamebrains! I'm surrounded by a bunch of YoYos!" Also I liked Care Bears the movie where everyone becomes good friends.
