Now you know how some of the third world countries feel trying to invest in the global economy.

You may need to call your Debit(CC) card company and pre-authorize those purchases.

Some major issues that alt coins will be able to solve:

1: Power usage for Bitcoin in unsustainable despite arguments by people spinning that it's helping with green energy.
2: Bitcoin transactions are dominated by the Chinese.
    3. Bitcoin fees are going to rise as rewards pay less.
    4. Bitcoin has become more of an NFT that people use as an investment tool rather than currency.
    5. Bitcoin's deflationary nature, encourages hoarding.
    6. Bitcoin has slow transaction times.
    7. Ethereum is like Bitcoin in that it's not efficient and a huge power suck. Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash also are power sucks. This is going to be important because we can't afford to support coins like this if we are actually serious about carbon emissions.
    8. Many coins lack stability.

Take a look here at the Power usage for mining. It's clear the Cardano, Doge, and XRP are in great positions right now to do some damage in the long run. This is because functionality is superior and they solve one or more of the issues above.
    https://www.trgdatacenters.com/most-environment-friendly-cryptocurrencies/

Kilowatt hour (KWh) consumed per transaction

    XRP
    0.0079

    Dogecoin
    0.12

    Cardano
    0.5479

    Litecoin
    18.522

    Bitcoin Cash
    18.957

    Ethereum
    62.56

    Bitcoin
    707

Why do I like Doge? Because it is, gasp, inflationary, to a limited degree. The system only allows for so many to be created each year (And this is a good thing!) It ensures eventual stability and it ensures the future because it rewards miners at a nice even pace going forward for a long long time, ensuring the system will be supported by miners and transaction fees can stay low. This also prevents hyper inflationary scenarios which would ruin the value of what you hold. Furthermore, transaction speeds are faster which is important if you are going to actually use it as a currency. Also, it's on the low side of electricity costs for mining.
    • If you want another nice alternative, XRP is there as well to look at; though 60% is in the hands of Ripple labs... the largest owner of Doge has 26% which is again a huge advantage for Doge.
    • Also ADA is a nicer alternative to Ethereum for sure because it's far more efficient and may be the future of smart contracts.

I have a Methane miner that has been over-producing for decades. Different fuel gets different output levels but cheese and black beans work the best.

Doge just overtook XRP in market cap. Probably won’t last long but the fact that this has happened is nuts.
