That is so very rare. Even on Alvarez's Monster triple decker, the RF gave a few courtesy steps.

Is it just me or are the Astros pitchers having more success when they're able to spot their FB's in the bottom of the zone? Seems like a change from years past. Felt like LMJ noticeably had more success dotting the bottom of the zone with his FB and changeup the other day.

With Verlander and Cole, everything was power up in zone.

Better success than 2018 and 2019, but fewer fastballs down than in 2019. 2018 was slightly less.

Damn Straw, that ball just didn't want to come down. Fooled Kiermaier and Tucker and Kalas and me.

How can they continue to play Maldy everyday when he's this bad at the plate?

    Maldy .327

Pretty close numbers there. A toss up I guess o_O

Leadoff BB to a guy with a .466 OPS, 2 out HBP and a meatball down the middle.

    Proper ****ing meltdown by Javier.
