We were a bad team, we were in the lottery and got lucky with a ping pong ball which led to us drafting Yao. With Dream, we were also a bad team, but we got lucky, and drafted #1 overall. In hindsight sure but no GM in their right mind would have done that trade in 1984. Sampson was a massive prospect who lived up to the hype with a 20/10 rookie of the year campaign. They went to the finals in Hakeems second season. If Sampson stays healthy they likely win multiple titles, certainly compete for them anyways.
CP3 was the greatest thing to happen to the Rockets since the Drexeler trade. Dumb ass stripper partying Harden could handle a real pro leading the team so he demanded WestBrick. In retrospect the best thing would have been to trade Harden's whiny ass and keep CP3.
Most of the time I run it, we lose our pick, then I realize that it doesn't matter what I get and go back to living my life.

Relax, we have much better odds of getting a top four pick than a Harden three at crunch time has of being good.
Hopefully Adam Silver appreciates the Rockets trading James Harden to the Nets that gets them High Rating in the Playoffs. Adam Silver does a solid and gives the Rockets a Number 1 Pick. Even Victor Oladipo on the Heat draws some TV excitement. When healthy.
Cade is my final choice for the Houston Rockets. Unfortunately, there is only a 14 percent chance of acquiring him. We have no control over the top 4 picks unfortunately.
That's funny. We have a Utah in the NBA; but their players aren't that weak. Mitchell-Gobert would have drawn a foul on Mobley. Or Conley-Gobert. In the case of the Warriors......Curry-Draymond are completely different animals compared to those two stooges in the clip representing Utah.
Did you not CP3 get traded to freakin OKC and then go ball out? CP3 is a throwback. He is a true pro. Sad the way Harden did him.
Why are the 4 extra play-in teams eligible for the draft lottery? If a team has a shot at the post season then they should never be eligible to get a top 5 pick.
