Agreed, I was hoping the trade up was to get a legit cornerback.

Instead we’re adding depth at positions that already have crammed depth. Albeit mediocre it’s still pretty crammed and questionable (Watson outcome).

His stock dropped a ton in the last year. Seemingly no one wanted him

I have no doubt that the Texans drafted fine young players and individuals. But I don’t believe for a second that that Cal can create anything moderately resembling a competitive or respected franchise. Anyone who does not see the latter is either blind or just willfully ignores his utterly incompetent history. Cal hasn’t accomplished a damn thing in his life. Not even a Wikipedia page! Yet he runs his expensive toy into the ground with asinine rational. Dude opted for a weird pseudo-religious BS culture that has left the Texans the laughing stock of the sports world. Spare me the 7-9 win seasons for decades to come. We really are about to trade Watson for a couple late picks, huh. I’ll watch football unaffiliated with Cal when I please, and I’ll enjoy my Sundays not worried about the clown show at NRG. I think the Texans are in for a rude awakening, I don’t think fans will fill the NRG seats like they do faithfully have to date. Toyota Center 2.0. Such a shame that this is the crap Houston fans are left with. Truly the best fans in the world IMO.

Yeah, Cal sucks. Texans are a mediocre franchise. But it’s not their fault Watson’s return will be shitty, that’s solely on his poor choices.

These things are cyclical...and things are bad right now. Really bad. But they made the playoffs 6 times in the past decade and had a pretty good run of being better than average.

Also Caserio deserves a shot to build this team as he sees fit...I’m patient and can find some joy in the process. Not unlike the rockets now or the Astros in 2013.

Well the 2 year drought of draft picks is over. This time next year this board will be buzzing.
I do suspect Watson gets traded after the June cap hit date. Which will gather more draft capital.
We just have to suffer through this season then cap relief and draft pick surplus will be cause for a touch of optimism.
Let's see how it goes. Maybe some folks will emerge as good pieces moving forward.

Darn! Tay Gowan cb off the board.
Don't know why he dropped so far but was hoping he'd make it all the way to udfa.

Still hoping Tamorrian Terry will make it to udfa, but he probably wouldn't choose us anyway.

Nic needs to be loading the numbers of all the good/decent corners still left into speed dial though!

I was wondering the same about Gowan. Have no idea why he dropped.

guess you didn’t see the amount of picks to get certain players. Trading up etc. Texans will be a joke for a long time.

Yeah I can see that part. I was talking about where the players were drafted, wasn’t many reaches.

see your point as well, guess we will see. These mock drafts are never correct. I hope the GM is at least a bright spot for our team, seems like the only guy in the room that has real experience at his job.

    UDFAs for Texans to target

    DT Marvin Wilson
    CB DJ Daniel
    IOL David Moore
    RB Jaret Patterson
    WR Tamorrion Terry
    S Ar’Darius Washington
    RB Pooka Williams
    CB Trill Williams

I love Terry wr and Patterson rb.
Really like Moore ol, Washington s, Williams cb and Williams rb, although Pooka has some legal/personal issues that might take him off our board.
