Safe is a relative term. But compared to America, Canada or Europe, it's extremely unsafe, particularly for a person as famous as him. God knows we have our own issues here, but it's extremely rare for somebody to be targeted here in the US, at least as part of a large scheme. American corruption is much more white collar.
His brother got kidnapped in Mexico You realize Canelo is a Mexican saying it’s not safe in Mexico He’s basically LeBron or Jordan there
@J.R. The rich celebrities in America actually attack the working class like some rich drug addict singer chick attacked a frozen yogurt shop for offering diet options . Canelo has never attacked the working class of Mexico
I’m a foreman in construction and work with a lot of not so legal workers. It’s sad when they tell me their family member got stopped by cartels trying to cross back into America and won’t let them unless they pay like $500. Especially my guys who come from El Salvador. That **** sounds like hell A couple of my guys wishes America would just spend the next year and completely purge Mexico of any cartel life. They absolutely love their country and wishes the government would basically kill them all
You can’t compare Canelo to some ordinary American who flips burgers and gets robbed by some local street thug for their Yeezys. you have to compare Canelo to his piers of professional fighters who were top earners Mayweather Triple G Khabib Tyson Fury Conor All of these top earners don’t live in Mexico. Has anyone of them said their country is not safe ? Has anyone of them had their relatives Kidnapped for ransom? the answer is no. And kidnapping is a regular crime in Mexico. There was a denzel Washington movie about it. I mean dude, you realize on Clutchfans we had newbs compare Tmac to Hakeem.
https://www.tmz.com/2021/04/28/canelo-alvarez-brother-mexico-kidnap-negotiations-boxing-fight-2018/ In fact, Alvarez was very critical of Mexican leaders when talking with Bensinger ... saying the government and law enforcement are doing a "very bad" job. He added, "This is why I'm not here in Mexico much anymore, because it's not safe." Canelo says he wishes his home country would create more strict laws and punishments to help make the place safer for all. He added that he'd like to move his family to the United States ... but said it'd be difficult "because they have their life here ... they have their life here in Mexico. I can't do it."
Agreed nothing wrong with saying Mexico is dangerous. The cartels only left the border. They are still there
There’s no cartels in Germany kidnapping soccer players family. It’s sad for him cause he’s Mexico’s top athlete.
The cartel would never kidnap Demi Lovatos brother. That’s because she snorts lots of their cocaine @J.R.
I mean water is wet.... There has been Iraqi level violence south of the US border for many years now.... it's essentially a narco state. Hooray.... law and order war on drugs.
