At this point, I'd be happy if they traded him straight up for pick #3 and took Justin Fields.

 

I could not imagine any package with DeShawn's rep in the toilet, that would be worth the lesser haul of picks and the Cap hit that would be sensible enough for EVEN the Texans to take.

 

Trading Deshaun right now would be the most Texans thing possible, so, yeah, they just might do it.

The cap hit is really only $5M so IF the picks are there (which I doubt), I wouldn't be worried too much about the cap since I don't think Caserio is planning on any big FA acquisitions.

This sort of behavior has been shown to escalate to more dangerous, more malicious, less "innocent" sort of activity as men get older (especially men with financial means).

Remember when it was so crazy that the Texans ask someone to stick to their contract? I was one of them. I agreed with deshaun wanting out. But now, seeing this and how we can’t get anything for him. This sucks, if you ruin your job outside of the league, team should get compensated.
