X-Men need to write a new major character(not replace one) that's of hispanic/latino background. I mean, the X-Men hits pretty on the nose about illegal immigration and xenophobia as it is.
Spider-Man 2099 is hispanic, that'd be dope to throw him in Spiderverse. The themes are there, but where are the heroes? Just more white saviors with some Mexicans in the background needing saving.
Or are you talking about the actress who is half Spanish/British. She's a white European girl. Not exactly what i had in mind. She is great though. I like her in His Dark Materials
Marvel sure knows how to pick them, lol. If I was collecting the bag i would hand my socials over to a someone else and use my Burner. Like, just chill out. lol
Dude should have just left it extremely vague all while supporting the episode / show. "Season finale of FatWS was amazing! Love it when real-world social issues are touched upon - hope it gets people talking! So happy to be a part of the Marvel family!" Something like that.
I'm more dsiturbed by the comments...dude called out marky mark for being a bigot who crippled a Vietnamese guy as a teenager but still took a role to do a movie with him and deleted his Twitter comment I take him for a happy go lucky meathead, but get some self respect.
It doesn't make logical sense. With the "98% of Twitter" comment, he's either talking about the anti-Asian hate or news on Ma'Khia Bryant or George Floyd - both of which have to do with racism, since Liu has been vocal on both things on Twitter. So with that tweet, the seemingly innocuous line of "There is room for conversation with opposing viewpoints" seems to reference that. And people are in outrage, since this would mean that a racist's POV should be heard too. This dude is really taking the "I heard it in a TV show / movie, so imma use that ish in my real life" way too seriously.
I think the only other villain Tony Leung ever portrayed was in the movie "Lust, Caution". But he is teaming up with Andy Lau to shoot another movie based on a real crime took place in HK in the 1980s. Tony Leung took the villain role, rumour said. https://variety.com/2021/film/news/tony-leung-andy-lau-felix-chong-goldfinger-1234911605/
