Happy Wood has made it this far but it’s annoying how much he praises himself. He hasn’t done **** to think he’s worth a max. I would trade him before his deal ends.
Of course he thinks he's a max player. Any team that forks out the $$ to make him a max player will regret it!! Nice piece to the puzzle but he's NOT EVEN CLOSE to being a max player.
He will be a max player because someone will pay him the max. He is not one now, but his numbers are not far from it. DD
I still think Wood can grow as a player but if the Cavs or Raptors want to send their pick this year our way for Wood I wouldn't miss him.
Beware of the max contract that isn’t tied to an actual top 15 guy. We just saw first hand how detrimental Westbrook and Wall are. The market may award him with a max deal, but at this very moment his talent and skill level on a max deal would likely hurt the chances of whatever team is bold enough to give it to him. Still time to improve though.

numbers on an atrocious team...somebody has to score and rebound...even Olynyk is putting up career numbers here because the games are meaningless max contract should be based on numbers and impact
I mean, he is in 2k. I'm 2 years into the future, we missed on Cade, but that gives us the #1 pick the next year and we get some Emoni Bates that is a beast. Anyway, Woods grows into a 94, awesome 3ptt shooter, no big man can stay in front of him. But he is tired of losing and we have to max him just to see if he fits. So there is that, at least a computer simulation agrees with him.
Health is the only reason i would hesitate giving him the max. He will be even better if/when they get better players around him imo.
