Many technologists do not like crypto or even blockchain. There are plenty of articles of how greasy it's become. Even the "tether printing issue" isn't resolved...They just settled with NY AG and make toothless declarations every quarter of how much their Tether is backed by real assets. It might've been trouble if they had to do real audits, but I guess NY's case and jurisdiction wasn't that strong.

More and more macro people starting to love btc/eth as a hedge against the dollar/Fed though. If prices drop 50-70% again, definite no brainer to risk some play money. In a sense, it takes some rich money discipline to stomach rug pulls or knowing when to take profits. Nowhere else can you put down a couple grand and let it rip 10-100x depending on the timing.

IMO, the money poured into underlying shitcoin tech will pan out in some way...just not what we're expecting. Just like startups in early 2k, they're going to pivot a lot. The speculation, overleveraging and waste will mean there will be a few more winters though. Doge is a big smell of how manic the market is.

I think trading sentiment will change once BTC reaches its mining endgame, but that's years away and I can't even predict the next few months.

Cardano lately has been to buy the rumor and sell the news (Shelly and Coinbase IPO).

My non-financial advice would be to sell at least half on or before the event, then try to buy it back when it dips...if you're a believer.

I've sold it all before but got suckered into FOMOing in, so I've quit thinking I can time everything...

Nice take. Crypto space is certainly growing and not just in value. There are a lot of interesting ideas starting to catch on. 6 months ago many people didn't know what non-fungible event meant. Dogecoin is nothing more than a speculative gateway to more gambling opportunities. It wont be long before someone will capitalize on a Forte Night idea and anchor it to Bitcoin.

Maybe not.... it happens every few years. lol. Although, I'm wondering if everything will lose 90-95% of its value again this time. I'm hoping so, but sadly, they may not.

You aren't. We'll be in a standardization/gold rush phase for another 5+ years. This is the next industrial revolution. Or rather, a big phase of the internet industrial revolution.

Well, if you're going to sit there and ride it all the way down, you deserve to lose it. lol. Sell, then when it's cheap, buy back and wait for the next round of suckers. :D

My advice - if you are late to the financial party you weren't invited.
