    I totally get you. I've been critical of Snowfall myself and think the dialog at best to be 6th grade level. But I still enjoy the series.

    The Wire is a classic onto itself... I can't really think of show that takes such a realistic look at how the institutions shape our cities and society.

    Season 4 was the pinnacle for me..... focusing on politics (the mayor's race) and the schools. I went to Welch Middle School in Fondren SW of Houston.... that brought back some memories.
