Between two ferns (movie). Restaurant scene.

Zach: we're going to order the clam strips
    Gaya: how big are they?
Waiter: Have you seen a chicken strip?
Gaya: I've never seen a chicken wear clothes.

The two rows CFA got in my HEB are moving fast. Won't be surprised if they start encroaching on some of Whataburger's Sauce Factory & Grocery Supply shelf space (I need to check how they're doing in other departments, with their shoestring potato fries & tubes of breakfast sausage). Hey they sold some ketchup anyway. And a mustard!

At least CFA didn't have to compromise any of their restaurant products to expand into retail food.

Never understood why anybody would buy whataburger ketchup or mustard

eta: My point being that there are so many other good products out there. I mean, I like their spicy ketchup if I'm at Whataburger, but at home just mix some quality ketchup (no hf corn syrup) and your hot sauce of choice and you have something better.

For the same reason people rave about Buccees beaver nuggets and have to stop and get some. Theyre just brand whores that dont know any better.

Whataburgers jalapeno ranch is hard to beat though.

Should have mentioned that one in particular, my mom likes it so I've had it at her house with carrots and celery. Damn good stuff. I imagine it would be pretty killer with the right wing sauce or dry rub.

I second Sam’s. I believe they’re called Southern Style Nuggets and no they’re not going to taste like CFA but will come close for home nuggets.

Btw, Sam’s also has BBQ Pork Rib sandwiches which are supposed to be like McRibs.

Don't eat much of it, but the best one I've found at the store is Lighthouse, it's in the refrigerated produce section because it's not shelf stable. So many of them taste way to mayonaissey for me.

Here's a blind taste test of ketchup, Whataburger included. Heinz Organic is what I've always bought, guess I need to try Portland Ketchup Company.
