calm down, buddy. I was making a joke too.. nobody out here reporting anyone on account of Keith Jones. Is that what it's like in this thread? y'all too wound up. reported.
The Rockets or Morey must have some kind of data on recovery. Harden was never hurt here and Gordon and Anderson who were chronically hurt did much better here.
Those picks/swaps from 2015-2017 look mighty juicy. this is their first year together, and Durant can't stay on the floor, and now even Harden is out
Hopefully he can get back by the playoffs just to get some games under his belt. They can win round 1 without him. Depending on KD they will stilll have a chance to the 1 seed. Chemistry matters but these three are not just any three stars. KD you can plug into any team or offense and he wont miss a beat. Kyrie is fine as long as he has space to operate and doesnt have to focus on getting others involved and james is a maestro. With kyrie, KD, and harris around him I just dont see this team struggling offensively even without a ton of reps together. If they can get the 1 seed they will cruise to the ECF.
If he comes back in the playoffs he isn't going to be 100% and could make it worse, between kd and harden being hurt 76ers or bucks have a chance.
This is all about just getting them ready for a long playoff run. If Harden was still in Houston, he wouldn't really have a choice but to play or come back quickly. The nets aren't worried about any kind of seeding. They know what they're capable of and what they're after. They actually have the luxury of depth and the other guys continuing to be more confident will only help in the long run
Thank you! and some of us still slander the Rockets training staff like they haven't rehabbed broken players. Never forget BEFORE CP3 went vegan he was his healthiest as a Rocket even with the hamstring injuries Nene was also had a bunch of injuries but when he was with the Rockets he was healthy.
I wouldn't get too excited about the value of those pick swaps (maybe if Billy King was still their GM). Even when the big three is gone, Sean Marks is a really good GM with a great draft track record. And since they'll have no reason to tank...yeah.
Starting to sound like his injury is worse now than the original strain... ______ "Really, I knew. I was at the workout but we didn't know until you have the scan. So I just found that news as well," Nash said. "Yeah, back to square one. We'll rehabilitate him and get him back whenever we can, and who knows when that will be."
Well yes and no. Sean Marks is a really good GM, but look at the years when the Celtics had those unprotected picks -- Marks chose to treat those picks as a sunk cost and not worry about them. Instead he used cap space to acquire assets in salary dumps, most infamously with the D'Lo trade. He was able to scrap together a fun young playoff team out of nothing, but along the way there were some pretty bad rosters comprised of young raw prospects and salary dump garbage. And during that time, the Celtics drafted Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum. Of course, that assumes a roster of total devastation after the Big Three era is finished. He says he'll be back in six weeks, but who knows if that's just him psyching himself up.
I predicted they would rush him and he will turn a slight swelling into a grade 1 strain. They need to now be extremely cautious now because he can tear it
