I don't understand @J.R. we're all just a bunch of liberal assholes in his opinion on a basketball forum, so why does he feel the need to post shitty twitter "news" post over and over...almost like he has no life himself and isn't much better than the guy in his basement waiting for Q drops...

Well, they should have been able to take notes, and I know that when I've served on juries, we could ask for the transcripts of certain parts. It is strange if they aren't allowed to.

 

Verdict is in per cnn. That fact that its quick hopefully is a good sign.

The video makes it pretty easy. They certainly had to consider the legal terminology for the 3 charges, but manslaughter seems obvious, and hard to not vote guilty on 3rd degree murder given the 5 minutes or so he stayed on him after he was motionless is a pretty clear example of not having regard for human life.

Again, I am hoping that after the decision was announced that there isn't violence nor "celebrating"... it was a horrible thing that happened, and our system of law enforcement and judicial system will be impacted by the decision, either way. Hopefully we can move forward as a nation, and where possible, improvements can be made.

 

They were all provided every bit of evidence and videos on laptops.

 

The dude is obviously guilty in some, if not all, of the charges...but it sure does bother me when the sitting President of the United States weighs in on a verdict before its read. That sort of undermines the process, regardless of outcome.
