I am flabbergasted about why they think this is a long term winning message and why would anybody vote for them on this stuff. Trump had a very potent populist message to go along with the grievance politics this has no substance and does not appeal to anybody out of that hard 35% and all of them won't vote. It just really does not make any sense.

This has long been an issue with the Right since BLM started doing mass protests blocking traffic. I've heard people justify the killing of Heather Heyer by saying that they the driver was right to run over a crowd blocking traffic. What makes this particular ironic is that Right leaning protesters themselves blocked traffic deliberately during anti shutdown protests.. Some of the ones in MI and MN were specifically called "Operation Gridlock". While Trump supporters blocked traffic on a bridge in NYC and also interfered with traffic to try to drive out the Biden bus in TX.
