This is one of the stupidest posts I've read in a while but the icing on the cake is that you don't even realize Texas is an open carry state too.
Miami is a hellhole that is only going to get worse as the sea overtakes it, just everyone keep that in mind.
A young man in great shape such as Brown has virtually no risk of hospitalization or death from COVID (well under 1%). A 31 million person sample size is overwhelming evidence of this. People have ignored the data for so long and it's wrecked our country -- it's past time to call it out. If the man wants to go party at the Booby Trap, then go have fun!
Looking at charts and statistics just on death makes little sense. Just because people have a small probability of death does not mean it is worth the risk to a pro athlete. The effects of Covid on your lungs post infection can be worse than if you were smoking for 30 years. If you look at guys in the league like Tatum who had Covid a long time ago, they are still recovering and not 100% after 3 months. They are needing to take inhalers, if I have tens of million or in Tatum's case hundreds of millions at risk, it doesn't seem worth it. If you are a fringe NBA player, I would be even more careful, you miss some games you could end up in China in a year. If you're on a team getting ready for the playoffs, it would just seem selfish to put yourself at risk to miss important games, and potentially not be 100% for the games even if you are able to return. "Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum said Tuesday night that he is still dealing with the after-effects of contracting for COVID-19 three months ago and has been using an inhaler before games as a means to combat them"
Maybe, but I know a handful of Astros starters have been effected. So I wouldn't assume all athletes are safe.
What BallSoHarden said. Also, from a population-wide standpoint, you're protecting everyone else, not yourself. If you catch it and spread it without symptoms or illness, you've done damage... or for every person you infect, you're about 1/100th a murderer if you did it through negligence.
Tatum is also at career highs in minutes per game and points per game. Let's not be too dramatic lol.
No, idiotic selfish takes like this is what has wrecked the country. "Durr I'm young, nothing serious will happen to me if I catch covid" Meanwhile said derp spreads covid to ^n people cause he just had to go clubbing at Spire
Why did he go to the Strip Club in the First Place. The Rockets need to be healthy and playing and he goes out and is in a dangerous area with drunkards and undercover gangs. Now Going through 2 weeks of Covid Protocol and loses his Starting Spot to Armoni Brooks. Stephen Silas needs to stop being a Idiot in Starting Avery Bradley. Armoni Brooks Deserves to Start.
