His wife only lets him sleep in the bedroom after wins, losers sleep on the couch A rough year for Coach, no one misses Harden more then him
Or a porta-potty... Good to get a win though. I like Armoni Brooks from what little I’ve seen of him so far
Wood played bully on a few possessions!! Continue to enhance your game, but continue to lose for draft pick sake. Draft well
It seems that there are fans who do not understand it. Winning today is another step back from the goal of rebuilding this franchise. There are 15 games left in a lost season, what do you celebrate? This team needs to select a future star in the next draft not to win games in a lost season.
I think that’s why he always seems to pick it up in the 2nd half. Always seems a little passive trying to play point at the beginning of the game Kids only 20 and he’s probably feeling the pressure. I wonder if Wall or Wood holds any resentment knowing the fans want Porter to be the franchise player and not their ass
The reality is that that the odds for holding on to our protected pick are exactly the same for the worst three records. The worst three records have the exact same odds for the first, second, third and fourth picks. So as long as they have one of the worst three records, it's fine relatively speaking as it's still a near coin flip (52% to keep our pick). There is no benefit to tanking to the worst overall record.
Didn't see all of the game but the box score had Armoni 5-6 from the 3-point line. I love also that Silas ran an off-the-ball screen for Brooks that gave him a much cleaner look. Please more of those next season! Brooks is an elite 3-point shooter.
I didn't watch the game, but two things stick out to me from the box score: 1) We played what appears to be a great game, and yet we barely pulled out a win against the Magic. Yeah, this rebuild's gonna take some time. 2) Every starter outside of Bradley had 10 or more field goal attempts. Wood had 18, Porter had 15, Olynyk had 14. No way that happens with Wall playing. Even if we're a worse team with Wall out of the lineup, these guys - esp KPJ, KMJ, Brooks, and Wood - need the ball in their hands, need to get shots, and need to play through late game scenarios where games are close. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen nearly enough when Wall plays.
Good developmental win for the Rockets. Brooks is looking like he might needs to be a part of our young core group. I cant wait to June 22nd. Really hope we get a top 4 pick.
I would be okay if we got Mobley. Just in case Kelly O. doesn't sign with us, will be nice to have that size and athleticism to pair with Wood. Also, if the Rockets don't sign Brooks to a guaranteed contract, someone else will, he has a skill that is so sought after and his shot is for real, this is no lucky streak.
