These folks are just following the footsteps of the Greatest Anglo-Saxon ever.

"As this implies a degree of ideological flexibility, a certain intellectual boldness is needed amongst members of the AFC to follow in President Trump’s footsteps, and potentially step on some toes and sacrifice sacred cows for the good of the American nation."

Trump did issue an EO late last dec 2020 for all new fed building to use traditional architecture - “Gothic, Romanesque, Pueblo Revival, Spanish Colonial, and other Mediterranean styles.” All new fed building of certain cost must comply. This was normally decision made at local level, decentralized handoff approach.

    Biden rescind it.

Ps. I’m a fan of transitional architecture. I’m not a fan of forcing all new fed building to use only traditional architecture.

When someone says "uniquely AngloSaxon political traditions" the first thing that comes to mind is monarchy and knights.

If I didn't know where it came from or read this thread, I would honestly believe that this caucus wanted to turn Biden into a king and the senate into the round table.
Who's going to be Lancelot? Ted Cruz?

...what's really funny is how much stupider than the Donald alot of these nitwits really are.

...again, this stuff is written down in chapter one of the "Cons and Scams for Dummies" handbook...

...(and in plain ye olde English, to boot):

...it's not the merchandise that makes the sale...it's the performance...;)

    Fake news.

The greatest Anglo Saxon ever was Alfred the Great..
Alfred turned back a Danish invasion of England at the Battle of Eddington while Trump couldn't stop an invasion of Korean Boy Bands.

My favorite thing about America First! is that they unintentionally took the name of Charles Lindbergh's pro-Nazi group.

@basso does this ever come up when you're explaining your movement to your friends?

    The movement of the day
    Sets my thoughts adrift
Yet the night gets closer to me
    The tremble of your mouth
    Sets me on fire
    As night closes in

    Why think when there's you?
    Why wonder when you're here?
    The movement of the day,
    The stillness of the night
    Sets my thoughts adrift
    Like nocturnal wind

    ...
