They’re still the 9 seed. Harden drops 40-50 and also runs an elite offense, that’s why he can carry teams by himself and steph can’t.
Lol new guy thinks he’s winning. The ex knows he won the real prize ie piece of mind. “That b**** crazy. Good luck with that dirty skank” lol
Harden ran an elite offense after Morey spent years building a team around him with complementary players. This is essentially a brand new team for a 33 year old Curry.
this is the nba forum. So I’m free to talk about any non-rocket player I please curry is lucky their is a play-in tournament this year or he’d miss the playoffs like he should will be interesting to see where steph curry fanboy Ben Taylor ranks curry in his top 10 player list this year. Harden averaged 40 for 3 months and the rockets with g-talent went 31-10. If the warriors went 31-10 during currys hot streak the media would be like JOKIC WHO
curry is running the same exact steve Kerr system. With draymond orchestrating and being the head of the snake for the offense. With draymond the warriors are able to punish 4 vs3 matchups. Harden had no such release valve and was still winning games
curry is only averaging 31 lol. Harden averaged 29/7/6 and didn’t even make an all nba team in 2016. Because winning apparently. Meanwhile curry is probably gonna make 1st team all nba for being the 9th or 10th seed James Harden has to play and has always had to play by a different set of rules with the nba media
Lol you joking right? Harden played with a new starting lineup almost every game in 18-19 and it didn't matter. James Ennis, James Nunnaly, Faried, Rivers, House, Gerald Green all took turns going from the streets to starting lineup. This Warriors team is 10x better than the trash Harden played with. Draymond green is still an all star.
how quickly they forget danuel house was a rookie that year as well, and clint, eric gordon, and cp3 missed so many games
True, but 1-8 record sans Curry is also a fact of the matter this season. That means they're 6 games above 500 with; winning % quivalent of 6th seed in the west.
steve Kerrs system is made especially for curry to shine. Just like how y’all claim dantoni made James harden( even though harden finished 2nd in mvp voting in 2015 under Kevin Mchale) How come curry couldn’t lead the warriors to a win yesterday. Jaylen brown and Evan fournier didn’t even play
Same system but far inferior players, and the Warriors don't have the personnel to punish 4v3 matchups.
Chris Paul played 58 games that year. PJ Tucker played 82. Capela played 67. Eric Gordon played 68. The fact that there were variations in the starting lineup is irrelevant. There was plenty of continuity from previous years. Simply an ignorant pair of statements.
58 games for cp3 is not a lot, never mind the games Chris Paul played to start that season when the rockets were the 13th seed in west. Chris Paul, Clint, and Eric Gordon were healthy when we were the 13th seed to start the season. Harden raising his game to another level is why we could have rose all the way to the 2nd seed on the final day of the season. If curry did what harden did that year he gets the mvp easily. You also have to remember harden the year prior averaged 30. To increase your scoring average by 6 after averaging 30 is very hard to do
When the team was healthy we were trash. 14 seed. Harden went god mode and dragged us to the second seed with PJ Tucker. Give Harden Draymond Wiggins and Oubre see what happens. Dude walked into Phoenix this year with Tyler Johnson brown Jeff green and beat the Suns.
Here's what you said: "Harden averaged 40 for 3 months and the rockets with g-talent went 31-10." How many games did CP3 miss during that 41 game span you referenced?
That'd be a terrible team. Wiggins and Oubre wouldn't defer to Harden, and Green would be offensively neutered. Also, look at the shooting percentages for Oubre/Green. Not to mention the personality conflicts. Again, a terrible team. It's surprising that a Harden fan such as yourself is ignorant about the types of teammates that complement him. He's always been a regular season monster.
He would also make Wiseman a borderline allstar. Steph is a great player but he isn't making anyone around him better.
