Morey has nothing to want from this second rate franchise. He is too busy looking down upon us from 1st place.

Not surprised. This is the same organization that gave the keys to the franchise to James Harden and let him do whatever he wanted as to keep him happy. Let him use tillmans private jet to fly all over, gave his buddies like bobby brown a job, ran chris paul out of town for another buddy, and then traded him wherever he wanted to go. Rockets organization getting played left and right smh

Lol at anyone who thinks Tilman has been paying for an IT department.

Now he is going to have to sell some bonds so he can take on an intern in the position

Eerily similar when the Astros got hacked by the Cardinals Correa.

Jeff Luhnow really made the Cardinals angry.

I think Daryl Morey is behind this.

Or Mark Cuban and his hacking group.

Question, are the rockets the only team that gives it superstar that kind of pull? Didn't Leslie's organization do that too? What does that have to do with a hack??

Plenty of things to crap on this organization with that are current and relevant. Treating a superstar extra is normal

Even more importantly, did someone get the corporate credit card with a $250 limit and a pin like a debit card?

Has Napalm weighed in on this? Shoot, it may be his fault. They may be letting him intern as part of that business school program he is in.

like the rest of the nba outside the Spurs and heat, they cater to their top revenue generator, heck like almost any elite field Wall Street or whatever, the nba economics is built of marketing off its stars and thats who holds power and makes money.

that said, if you haven’t paid attention we pulled gymnastics to get under the tax evey year we were “doing what harden wanted” , in 2018 we came in with over 10 million in tpe, guess how much we used? We had our full mle, guess how much we used? Guess how many bird rights we used ot get more assets? or guess how many times we used the rest of the ffirst and 2nd round picks we had to...get under the tax. those moves don’t help the GM for future cap flexiblity, didnt help coach, harden ,or any of us in Houston as the prices to tickets raised..they went to the pockets of one man.

Lets take ariza for example, obviously overpriced, but a one year deal, tradeable at the deadline as an expiring which he was, or lose him for nothing and replace him. Harden and paul both respected him as a guy who won with kobe. Ariza was the one who took to players tribune to lobby for harden to win the mvp. The chemistry, culture matter. Well you mentioned chris paul, here’s an exact quote from chris paul : “People don’t realize, that’s the biggest thing that we missed. That was tough when we lost [Ariza] because he sorta was like the glue. He was that glue for our team.”

Ok fine, sometimes basketball is tough and you have to try to ‘get better’ as tillman said. So who did we replace Ariza the glue of the team with, james ennis on a minimum contract. Ennis was at least in our MDA small rotation when he was traded for a top 55 protected pick...thats right, for nothing, coincidentally that helped put us under the tax. We also refuse to cut and swallow Carmelos deal for almost half a season for the same reason, including sending our d league pick up Daniel house home in the middle of a contending season until it was safe(tax wise) to sign him. Does that sound like an all in win culture?

Ok so harden the lazy culture killer right? The guy who in a time of load management played heavy minutes, insane useage, and rarely sat out? The guy who messed around and led the league in scoring, then assist, continuing to reinvent his game? To do that in this league, in a marathon of several seasons that this league hasn’t Seen before takes grit, takes determination and perseverance to be and do great things. Just like mj, who cares if he was out all night, they never missed their workouts, harden was the one who had to be convinced to stop our morning shoot arounds. HArden is not a guy reliant on his athletic gifts like giannis, he is a skill player. That takes work, daily. Heck when the league was touting on their golden boy steph curry, the players association the dude that goto battle with harden and hate his frustration style voted him mvp multiple times.

Unless you really feel that what harden wanted to do was make tillman smile and save him money while he was doing the above, your facts don’t check out.

The hack happened some time ago, when Ferni bought the franchise, and the franchise sold the farm.

EDIT: For poll, need new option -- "Depends on implications for luxury tax."
