wow what a shocker. Hope it ends up nothing serious and has a healthy and full life. He is so young and in the prime of his life.
Walton, Drexler, and Lilliard are ahead of him. It depends on where you put Sabonis, Roy, Porter, Cliff Robinson, Petrie, Mo Lucas, Sheed and other.
Portland has had a lot of great players. Aldridge belongs there. I have respect for him even though he killed us in the playoffs. I was hoping we would trade Dwight for him when Dwight was still considered a star player.
Does he still get a ring if they win/ At least LMA smart. I remember Bosh was trying to come back. Good thing the team had more sense. He realizes he has 100 mil+ no point in trying to push it.
Clyde, Walton, Dame, Aldridge? Terry Porter was huge for them too. Brandon Roy was very good for a time as well.
Yo, respect. Watching him work us over in that playoff series a few moons back was (painful) a moment of pure basketball. I remember thinking geez, this is what Dream did just bucket after bucket after bucket. He was just on fire for a whole ass playoff series. As I remember it now he was just easy, whistling the globetrotters theme and throwing in half-court hook shots with his eyes closed. Something like that.
He played 15 seasons. He made tons of $$$ and had a brilliant career. Nothing to be ashamed of. He did his thang.
Feels bad that this happens to someone who seemed like a real professional on the court. He had a great career and I'll never forget him torching terrence jones and mchale's coaching.
hope he finds something fruitful to do after this retirement. will always remember him vs yao in that one playoff series
