i don't know if it belongs in this thread or the bbq thread, but since you're in the bay area, might be worth a trip to Richmond.

If you're allowed to use teeth at all then this poll is a complete sham. Anyone could nibble a tamale like a rabbit and swallow without chewing, others seem to want to deep throat the whole thing, more power to 'em. OP gave us very poor parameters.

For those of you who can’t open your throat, you could also mush the tamale up with your tongue before you swallow. Chewing is defined as using your teeth.
