We watched the first season, and my younger daughter says its her favorite netflix series. Also enjoyed Unorthodox which starred Shira Haas and is a bit more "Hollywoodized" as a story...
I watched a docuseries on Amazon prime called "Dicing with Death" it follows drivers in different countries around the world transporting goods and people and the struggles they have to endure just to keep things moving. I really enjoyed it.
When I first saw Chad, I kept thinking that he was somehow transgender because he just looked too feminine to me. As a guy, the character just strikes me as creepy.
Watched Them on Amazon Prime. While interesting, I would not recommend the series given it's endless amounts of depression and degredation upon it's main characters. There aren't many shows that go knee deep into segregation era living but this isn't popcorn variety viewing even if they try to put on a Jordan Peele veneer of horror on it.
Tin Star on Prime... law enforcement officer Tim Roth moves his family (wife, teen daughter, young son) from England to the picturesque small Canadian town of Little Big Bear to escape the dangers of big city (and his alcoholism and drugs). Greeted by Christina Hendricks among others. Starts off looking like a Hallmark movie... but things go bad quickly. We are episode 3 of season one.
Primal on Adult Swim is pretty badass: caveman and his t-rex friend have bloody adventures; zero dialogue, but the animation is great. 100% on RT. Just watched the 1st season, 2nd is due out sometime this year.
Watched an episode last night. I agree. It wasn't what I expected. Too much like a weird horror movie for my liking.
Free epix. Started watching a zombie movie, and musical broke out. It wasn't bad. Actors and Actress were quite good despite plot.
Just started watching Schitts Creek I knew I would probably like it but seeing all of Daniel levy's Gifs made it a must view. I don't know what it is but I am currently crushing hard on Annie Murphy she just checks all my boxes and she crushes the part. I have a feeling this might be in my top 10 comedies before it's finished.
I'm recording it...any good? HBO pilot of "Mare of Easttown" was fantastic, I think it's only a 6 episode deal, but Kate Winslet is awesome so far.
