    British people still use a lot of imperial measurements too. A lot of places are signed in metric and imperial and most people on the street can understand both measures. Younger people mostly use metric but if you interact with Baby Boomers or Gen X, you'll have no issue with imperial units. In fact, I've met plenty of older people there that still really only use imperial units.

    Also the quarter pounder with cheese definitely exists at McDonalds in the UK.
