not sure why everyone keeps acting like we missed out on some gem in Lavert. He’s a bad 3pt shooter, mediocre playmaker and has had issues staying on an nba court. And he’s been pretty bad in Indy. cap space >>>>>>>> Lavert
Damn shame, but odds were not in his favor. Although I was critical of the trade, Stone is looking like he maximized value on a damaged asset. Also KO has been the bomb diggity, but can't turn this into 3rd KO thread.
This was posted in the daily game thread in the NBA Forum, but he seems to be ok. Tests came back negative, Bam said he looked ok after the game, but they're going to do further tests tomorrow to be sure.
Even if he's ok (and I hope he is), it's scares like this that will keep him from getting his desired max contract. But there are more important things in life than money.
Interesting video, thanks for sharing. This is the kind of physical eval (Red Flag) that may have dictated Vic not driving an All-Star like return. However, in retrospect KO has been a better fit and bigger help than VO.
"The Heat and Victor Oladipo have not ruled out the injured guard playing again this season, but a final decision hasn’t been made and Oladipo continues to seek input on how to deal with right knee soreness stemming from an incident in last week’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, multiple league sources said over the past two days." To be honest, it sounds a bit like he is done...
So after the national media made Houston a laughingstock when they saw what we got for oladipo, it turns out Miami was the ones that ended up with nothing? IN STONE WE STAN.
That draft pick swap next year looking very juicy right now. Hopefully we can get a mid 1st round pick next year.
and aside from oladipo we did get pick from Indy and other considerations right? also not sure if we gave up or got a pick when we traded Oladipo.
