Kelly is great and a perfect fit for the Rockets. I was just wondering, with all the love he's been getting here so far, would people turn on him of he takes equal or even less money somewhere else this offseason just to be in a different situation? Would you see him as a traitor if he decides that it would be best for him to bail from the Rockets?
No, it's his career. I'd appreciate him for playing hard and his contributions, but if I'm a FA I'd explore all my opportunities. With that said, I'd love it if we retain his services, because I'm definitely a fan of what he brings to our team.
That's very rational of you but I wonder if the bitter ex types on here would take it so kindly. I fear that we may be in for a rude awakening come free agency.
Maybe he should consider his productivity and fit with Rockets when he decides on next team or when negotiates next contract with Rockets.
; needed a screen cap; so picked one random. Your post will forever live on in this... As far as re-signing, I'd give it a 50/50. There will be suitors, Rockets can be one of them.
Not unless he signed a big contract and then put on a fat suit to force a buyout so that he could play for Brooklyn for cheap.
