This is true Batman, I had seen enough to know Harden wasn’t good enough to lead a championship team here in Houston, and lost complete belief when we traded CP3, at that point I was ready for the rebuild. You can say wrong side of history, or just ahead of the pack, both work. the difference is I never thought them contenders after CP3 left. DD
I haven't been following the team. Sometimes i get excited reading about progress of the young ones, but then i remember this is clutchfans where all of our scrubs are highly overrated. If i didn't know any better, we already have the next Hakeem in Wood, next Harden in KPj and the next Milkhair in Olynek and Wall is still a superstar. DaDa's just trying to cover up the fact that he's truly excited were going to suck this year, but most of all, next year where the biggest stiffy will be had at the prospect of drafting Chet Holmgren the true successor to Dan Langhi.
I dont disagree with you that a bona-fide star won't come here via free agency. But I think Gordon not coming here is bc we suck this year. If we were decent he would have come. We won't always suck. Also gordon not a bona-fide star.

I agree that KPJ, Wood, Tate, & KMart are keepers long term. I want to bring back Olynyk, as well as Brown and Nwaba, for next season. They, along with Augustin, would help ease the kiddos into the deep end and possibly get the Rockets competitive while they rebuild.
