here come LeBrons puppets in the media trying to cause strife within the nets locker room. I predicted this would happen multiple pages ago, the media sees that the nets are for real and will try to destroy them from within. But Durant, and Kyrie already know how LeMedia rolls, its harden who they are gonna have to explain this too

Despite what some in the media might think, Harden is not a moron. I don't think he'll need anything explained to him. Nets are locked in and not interested in the noise.

He gave up $4m this year. $9m for next year. Who knows how much he’ll make next year.

what’s crazy is Drummond only gave up $800k of $28m

Windhorst, as usual, is just a hot bag of wind.

If Kyrie still wanted to be the 'man,' he wouldn't have come to BKN to play with KD, knowing that KD is the better player. Honestly, I think Kyrie got his ego checked when he couldn't carry a Celtics team to anything. He knows he needs players on or above his caliber.

Tough to say whether Kyrie just cares about stats or if he's actually locked in. If he just cares about stats, he'll have the easiest time ever with Harden passing him the ball and Durant demanding a lot of attention. If he cares about the title, the 2021 Nets team is the best team he's ever been on, and that's saying something since he had LeBron as a teammate before.

He was plenty active on social media when he was with the Rockets. No where is this all of a sudden or new thing. he always posted supporting the dynamo, astros, texans, local athletes, charities, travel, random news and events etc. if you believe otherwise, his account will tell you. It just hits different because he's no longer here but it definitely ain't something he just started. Folks don't pay attention enough if they actually think his twitter fingers are extremely now active

    my how these have aged

feels like his posts in brooklyn are more fun and just "we out here" posts instead of the perfunctory ones we got when he was in the H.

I mean he's enjoying his time there as he should be. They're stacked and the favorites to win. But he had those type of supportive posts for the Rockets and teammates here as well. We just were never the favorites and nor had a long list of higher profile names. and of course the media and narratives are now in favor of him so that helps

Ever since Harden joined the team, Kyrie has really just been a joy to watch on the team. He hasn't shown anything to indicate he cares about stats at all at this point.

well he's overrated as a primary PG / playmaker and first option

but as a true off ball shooting guard..

A week or two after Harden joined the team, he pretty much acknowledged that and said Harden is the team's PG.

I've said this before about the Big 3: KD and Harden make all the shots you expect them to make. Kyrie makes all the shots you don't expect him to make.

He's a 6 foot 2 Kobe Bryant. With more refined ball handling and finishing.

Kyrie needs equals. I don't mean equally talented, but his fellow stars need to be equal partners that he can mutually respect.

He couldn't take playing with Lebron because Lebron always has to be the King. You bend the knee or else, and Kyrie isn't a kneeler.

Boston didn't work out because he couldn't respect the young guys there. He felt they were beneath him, and looking at their record this year, he was probably right.

In Brooklyn everyone decided to meet up as equals and it's working.

arent you one of the many posters who wanted harden off the rockets( check post history). why are you wishing ill on him after you got what you wanted. Did you actually believe that the rockets would win games and contend without an all-time great like harden on the roster. You let the media brainwash you into believing james harden was the problem. Never cherished what you had till he left, now you are angry and bitter that the rockets suck. You are coming to realization that the rockets were only contenders these past 8 years because of the greatness of harden. Nothing can quite hit that point home like a 20 game losing streak can it

And he's a way better shooter.

I've said this about him from the beginning. He can not be the best player on the team because he gets tunnel vision, but as the second best player on a team, he's pretty much unstoppable. Harden has only had one season that he played with someone that could take advantage of the space created by his double teams and gravity. Now he has 3-5 guys that can do it. Kyrie heading to the basket knowing there are no doubles coming is just scary.
