Not so tough. 1 can of Raid and they are done for. Seriously though, that's pretty amazing. Are we sure that video is no computer generated or anything?
Is there sound? Video is great. The bees go all defensive, and they're just dead meat. Interesting no grouped attacks, like ants do.
I used to do this when I was a kid. obviously not on this scale, but we would catch a Hornet and see how many bees it would take to kill it. Bottom line is we got bored before the Hornet lost. I think the most bee's we had attach a hornet on was around 50.
I'm a huge SF fan, but DAMN! That is scary as all get out. (or, as Elaine would say, "Get OUT!!") It reminded me of Starship Troopers. (the book was better) I don't know how they filmed it, but hats off to the people who did. (damn!! )
So I'm guessing that the chances of The Hornets showing up on A&M's non-conference football schedule would be a definite zero.
crazy stuff... its pretty amazing that the hornet can maintain their energy for so long. next they should have giant hornets v killer bees!!!! no more of their wimpy cousins...i want the real killers out there!!
