I liked the feature Google had a couple of years ago that you could see thumbs from the sites you saved so it was easier to find older stuff, is there an app that does this I have tried the ones in the Google app store.

What do you mean by “google” .... Google.com as your homepage or the Chrome App.

I ask because each browser app has this feature, for me. So my answer is the Chrome App, Safari App and Firefox App all do this.

maybe I’m not quite understanding your question of thumbnails of favs

Chrome app discontinued this about a year ago and I can't find an app that does it the same way the old Bookmark manager did it with thumbs.

I think the term you're looking for is "extension."

Will something like this work for you?

    Or this?

I believe they call what you're talking about live bookmarks.

Thanks and it is extension.

Its funny because I never ran across those before, the 1st does not work on my work computer and the 2nd does have thumbs but not like what chrome had before, they are pretty generic.

I will try on my personal laptop when I get home.

Seems like a really stupid thing for Chrome to ditch. I couldn't function without the little pics either.

I think it was for storage?

    What do you currently use?

Opera. ;) For that very reason. (And speed dial is cool too. It's what comes up every time I launch the browser or open a new tab.)

Not a apple guy but I will try those others when I get home, I am the king of bookmarks and it's getting harder to find stuff.

Once upon a time I had all my bookmarks sorted into folders. Then I switched browsers or something and they were all dumped into one folder. If not for the little pictures (and being able to search bookmarks) I would be lost.
