Outside of a few small stretches, Wood struggled all game on offense and defense. Offensively he struggled to get his shot, and defensively he was simply dominated by Ayton.
Tank commander Christian Wood... dude is definitely not a cornerstone piece, dont even think he's a good 2nd option. Fluky jumper & gets bullied in the post on the regular.
Rockets fans are definetely used to winning, lol. 20 year olds do that all the time, even the best ones. He'll be alright, he won't hit his prime until 7 more years pass and even then he is probably still getting better
Good time to evaluate KPJ. This is where he has to grow as a lead guard. He hasnt had a good close out 4th since he’s been here
Does Hakeem still offer them summer teaching sessions for bigs. Wood is the focus of other team's defense now; so he's got be able to keep improving. Finish through contacts and if fouled; keep playing instead of worrying about no-calls.
Wood is aight. I watched him during the season and when he has a good facilitator he does good. I watch our guys literally miss him on rolls and cuts constantly. If he played with cp3 or harden he’s average 25 easily.
depends, people here are so sure he's a future all-star but even 20 year old future all-stars show more from time to time. right now i'm seeing no ability to really do anything in isolation which is what you need out of a potential lead guard in the nba. i'm willing to give him till 23 years old to show he can become close to that guy tho.
