Armoni Brooks is a nice Benny Mac replacement, obviously his age makes him a better fit too. This guy accounted for a lot of KPJs assists in the g-league.

I know either @D-rock or @treyk3 wanted this guy. Glad they got him.

I think my guy @D-rock is still mourning over the loss of Aaron Gordon tbh. He honestly looks really good on the Nuggets.

    Wasn't a Patton fan.

    Really like Brooks.

I like this a lot. I feel like Patton has a future in the NBA but wasn’t going to get any time behind Wood, KO and Wilson. I feel like Patton and Wilson are very similar skill level wise but Patton has more potential IMO. Let’s see what happens this offseason. Patton might be back eventually.

Brooks is a sniper and I can’t wait to see him and KPJ play together. They had some real chemistry in the G league bubble.

IIRC Brooks plays defensive as well, an immediate upgrade to MacLemore.

Can we really lose what we never had, though?

Smart move. Armoni is a better defensive player and is a pure sniper, needs to prove it on the big stage, but is ready. McLemore was disappointing, looked locked in and then couldn't find his zero. Glad he's moving on.

Patton never made a move and just didn't earn the opportunity. DJ Wilson still has a lot to learn, but at least has put forth the effort and showed some promise. He may not make next year's team, but at least he'll get some work in practice and hopefully games to see what he's got.

Called this long ago, just like Tate starting ... they still need to look for another shooter

0.9 turnovers in 30+ minutes in the G-League. Is he a great ballhandler or just a pure spot up shooter?

don't remember him handling the ball much. Shoots a ton of spot up 3's

Had a soft spot for Patton. He was bought in for rebounding. His first couple games were OK as a solid backup. But as time went out; he kind of played himself out of the rotation. Some of it was that team was still losing. Other is limited minutes, as Silas prefer smaller line up at times.

    I can understand Stone's move.

While we're in this rebuild phase, it still seems cut throat; any Rockets bench guy have just a few games to showcase themselves. If they play poorly, they may be gone soon. With Olynyk and DJ Wilson, Patton became expendable.

    Wish him well.

One Viper player swapped with another. Let's see if Armoni will make the most of his chances.

Mr. Tilman signed Armoni to sound rich.
