Other than the initial possession where we got two offensive rebounds leading to Sasser's 3 pointer giving us a 3 point lead at the time, not much to be excited about in this one. This may be Jarreau's worst game he has played all year. They still have close to a 20 point lead with 9 minutes left. Pure dominance by Baylor.
Baylor wasn't missing 3s Refs helped Baylor a little Our offense scheme is way toooo ISO heavy and that doesn't work against an elite defensive team like Baylor We need to revamp our offensive schemes next year - I think Sampson is too stubborn to do this but one can hope
Well that near perfect game did not happen for us. We got beat by a better team and hat's off to Baylor. Time to pack it up, take some time off, and wait till next year. It's been a hell of a run for us. Just picked a bad time to not be able to step up against a really good team. Can't wait till next year.
This team did wonders for our program and it really sucks this is how it ends. Sad. This was our worst game in years but that is also due to baylor just being better. There is just a gap in talent. Its great to have a team full of dawgs but you also need high end players. I think Gonzaga rolls ucla and beats baylor. Thanks to all our guys, they've been great. Keep supporting our program!
