    I agree with ThatBoyNick. While poorer nations, which many are in warmer climates, have houses that are less sealed they also tend to have smaller houses with more crowding inside those houses.

    It's really a mystery. We are talking about a 10x or higher differences in death rate between poor and rich countries. One day we'll know. Today, it's just strange - one of the biggest and most interesting mysteries about Covid-19.

    @B-Bob might be referring to this great New Yorker article / audio (it's long but worth it). It goes into good details on the theory from multiple individuals into this mystery. The conclusion, if there is even one, is although there are so many great leads and good data, we still don't know. And that the answer might not be simple, but extremely complex with multiple reasons from Covid19 being not totally a novel virus to air ventilation in home to gov policies. Simplistic answer is probably wrong.

    And although this is talking about countries, I think you can apply it locally. We still have a lot of knowledge gap on the different outcome or not so different outcome between states that have very different policies.
